The Wildlife Map of the Hebrides

Click on a number above to go to detailed information. This map is intended to help guide you to areas of the Outer Hebrides where you can see some of the animals, plants and natural features which make the islands so unique. All the sites have been chosen so that they offer either convenient viewing from public roads or relatively easy walking in accessable areas. Although no specialist equipment is required, dependable outdoor clothing is recommended. Red areas are designations.
